Tall home

This scene was modelled and shaded in Maya. I modelled all objects in the scene and also used a boolean function to create the holes in the walls for the windows. I used free textures to add more detail to the assets including the walls, floorboards, bricks, and wallpaper. I developed this scene further by adding decorative assets (potted plants, lighting fixtures) to the outside of the building. I used Maya's generate system to create meshes of a variety of plants, created shaders for different stem and petal colours, and placed them within the many pots. To create the clothesline, I used the mesh sweep tool to create a twisted rope from a curve. I created simple meshes of some clothes and used nCloth simulations to make them move in the wind. For more realistic lighting in the scene, I configured a skydome light to use a HDRi image which lit the scene in a much more vibrant way. I plan to add furniture and decoration to the rooms inside as well as trees and a fence to the outside. These images were rendered using Arnold renderer.
