Trendy 19th century fashion perfect for under sea exploration. I began by modelling the main parts of the scuba suit such as the helmet, gloves, and boots. I created a curve and used the mesh sweep tool to create a mesh for the twisting air hose. I created a simple humanoid shape with plenty of subdivisions and used Maya's nCloth tool to simulate the fabric. I tweaked the simulation's settings to get multiple different looks for the fabric. I UV unwrapped all the assets, arranged them into 2 texture sets and textured the assets in substance painter. I added seaweed and algae to the scene as well as a sand texture to the ground plane. I also used the Arnold subdivision and displacement options to deform the plane's geometry when rendering to make the sand dunes look better. I plan on developing this scene further by adding other assets to recreate an ocean environment.
