I modelled and the assets in this scene in Maya and assigned them basic shaders. I first created the main structure (seating area and pool area) and then began adding in other assets to develop such as the furniture. I used a preset water shader for the water in the pool so that it would shine and reflect light into the room. For the curtains, I used Maya's nCloth tool to create fabric simulations. I used a skydome light with a HDRI to realistically light the scene with a sunset. I plan on developing this scene further by adding other furniture and decoration to the scene.
