I modelled, shaded, and rendered this scene in Maya using the Arnold renderer. I began by modelling the boat's assets including individual planks and the oars. For the surrounding environment, I modelled some basic shapes for rocks as well as some palm trees. For the leaves of the palm trees, I modelled a basic shape and added cuts to the sides and used a bend modifier to curve the leaves. I assigned some basic shaders for the different assets. I plan to develop the scene further by adding additional assets to the scene.
